Tarver vs Kayode-how does everyone see it?
I've seen Kayode fight enough to think Tarver should be able to use the jab, his feet, and constantly turn Kayode. Kayode's feet and hands are not very quick.
When Kayode fought Iannuzi, I watched the fight twice and the 95-94 scorecard for Kayode was accurate.
Kayode likes to think he can punch. He has 14 KOs in his 18 fights.
Of course he has followed a path we see alot now:
1- He had a UD in his 1st fight
2- then got a KO against his next 14 guys
3- He had a UD against Iannuzi, Godfrey, and Cora Jr in his last 3 fights.
Typical fighter that people think he can punch, lots of KOs against never will bes and journeymen, and then decisions when he starts facing guys who are decent.
If Tarver has taken this seriously and has anything left he should be able to put rounds in the bank early with the jab, some straight lefts, and his feet. Kayode's big chance is to get to the body, hope it wears down the much older Tarver, and try to get him late.

The couple of fights I've seen of Kayode showed me that the Nigerian is way too in-active in the ring. He spends the majority of the rounds with his hands up, going in and out, and not throwing shit.
He fights a lot like Abrahams.

Tony's body isn't that old when you look at the type of fights he's been involved in.

Yeh but he is still old as fuck and fighting at a higher weight than when he was in his prime. Tarver has not been the most active fighter during his career which is true. But it still shows something when these 40 year old guys are beating up the future talents. It's a sad reflection of the sport in some respects. Maybe I'll be majorly wrong and Tarver will lose but I don't see it happening

I think this will be a boring fight with a shit ton of tie ups. But I think Kayode wins by split decision. He will hurt Tarver late and pull it out in the last few rounds.
