I really like this show. I am a news junkie so a fake show about the news interests me greatly.


jeff daniels is good. Sam Waterson is having fun. Dev Patel is funny.

I like this show. How long until the producer decides to just nail the blond girl.

On Sunday nights lately I have been putting away some wine and watching game of thrones, prior to newsroom. By the time newsroom is on I'm pretty wined up, so my judgment could be off.

No its really good.

I'm gonna stop watching. Maybe I've seen too much of Sorkin's stuff but it's really predictable and heavy handed. I don't need to get beat over the head with politics and watch how each weekly topic they talk about on the broadcast is forcefully inserted into the characters lives.

I don't like any of the characters. The Indian guy is a caricature. I'm tired of hearing how smart Olivia Munn is in economics. The worst is that cabbage patch girl. She's an average looking, naive girl who thinks she's smarter than she is and has panic attacks. The fact that there's a love triangle between her and two pretty well off dudes is absurd to me.

Watching everyone walk around acting spouting off nonsense like they're moral crusaders frustrates me too. Then watching everyone be so smug when they make the right decision to wait 2 minutes before running a story gets to me. Everyone takes their jobs way too seriously. And I'm tired of watching them celebrate choosing to wait to run a few minutes before running a story like it's the Super Bowl.

It's a good show, but I don't think it's a good Sorkin show. It has no subtlety and it hasn't found a balance between comedy and drama. That might be why some people are so-so on the show.
