Celestino Caballero vs. Mikey Garcia ?

According to oversears reports in Panama, WBA featherweight champion Celestino Caballero (36-4, 23KOs) plans to defend his title in mandatory bout against Mikey Garcia (28-0, 24KOs). The WBA informed the Panamanian press that letter was sent to all parties to initiate the 30-day negotiations period. Garcia, ranked at number 1, stopped Bernabe Concepcion in seven rounds on March 10th in Puerto Rico. Caballero fought in December, winning a lopsided decision over Satoshi Hosono in Japan.

Caballero vs Garcia Talks Continue as Deadline Moves
According to the Rogelio Espino, the promoter for WBA featherweight champion Celestino "Pelenchín" Caballero (36-4, 23KOs), talks are ongoing for his boxer to satisfy a mandatory obligation to fight undefeated Mikey Garcia (28-0, 24KOs). Espiño is trying to reach an agreement before the deadline, as the World Boxing Association gave both sides until April 13th to reach a deal, before a purse bid is ordered. Espino says Caballero is very eager to face Garcia.

Team Caballero Worried as The Garcia Deadline Looms

Espino has been talking with Top Rank about finalizing a fight between Caballero and mandatory challenger Mikey Garcia (28-0, 24KOs), but nothing concrete is happening and the World Boxing Association has given both sides until Friday to reach an agreement.
"There have been discussions, but nothing conrete and that worries us because Friday is the deadline for negotiations," said Espino, who fears the WBA will order a purse bid before a deal is reached.
Espino plans to make an offer to Top Rank and either the company will accept or present a counter.
"We are ready to hear a counter [offer] and then we'll decided what's best for Caballero," Espino said.

it won't make much sense but he's basically saying you can't go to school in your underwear. i guess he's referring to social inequalities in Panama.
