Ward vs. Bute?
It’s looking like former WBC super middleweight champion Carl Froch doesn’t want any part of a fight against IBF super middleweight champion Lucian Bute next, as Bute’s promoter Jean Bedard from Interbox says that they’ve received no offers and he’s starting to question whether Froch fears Bute.
Bedard told the cyberpresse.ca “Frcoh wants to fight with Lucian, who is himself is ready to go. But they must make us an offer and we are still waiting. I’m starting to think Froch is afraid of Lucian.”
Thankfully, there’s someone that isn’t afraid to take the fight in the talented WBA/WBC super middleweight champion Andre Ward. Bedard said “They have not closed the door. Ward is looking for an opponent.”
Bedard will be meeting with SHOWTIME next week to discuss Bute’s next fight, and he says “we’re not on the same wavelength, but it is something that can be resolved.”

Yeah. Sounds to me like a money issue. Bute's camp becoming notorious at lowballing.

Froch's quite keen on fighting in Nottingham or England next, it's understandable given his recent run of venues.

Froch has more than earned a home fight. Bute can get his ass out of Canada once in while

I would love to see that fight happen here, might even inquire about going to it.

I don't know if my eardrums could handle 12 rounds of " COME ON CARL HE'S FOOKING USELESS."

How is it a money issue if they haven't received an offer yet? You need to throw a ball in order for it to be low.
I agree Froch isn't "afraid", but Bute stops him if they do fight; and Bute v. Ward is the fight that needs to happen either way.
