Dirrell is an idiot. But I'm glad as I don't want to see him fight Bute when Ward (would be a meaningful fight) and Froch (would be a fun fight) are out there.

I agree captain. I especially loved the quote in the article where his uncle says Canada is right across the bridge from Detroit, so Bute's fans can drive to Detroit. What a retard.

Someone should point out to him that Canada is a rather large country, and Montreal is actually quite a drive from Detroit.

there was home and away fights in the super 6. Yes, Ward never fought away, but time to move past that.

Dirrell can want the fight to be in the US, but it makes no economic sense whatsoever. In Canada where there is going to be 18000-20000 is where it makes sense.

yeah, Bute can put 18000-20000 in Canada, but they should go to Detroit where Dirrell would have 4000 fans. Absolutely ignorant and full of shit. And as an American that has never been to Canada, I do realize that it is a vast area. I would look at a map to see how far Montreal is from Detroit before making a stupid statement like that. not really what i'm trying to say. what i mean is that he already had a bad experience fighting in someone else's backyard. he should take the fight but if he turned ward down what makes you guys think he would go to canada.

Ward and Dirrell should have just been grateful to even be included in the super6. Now it appears to have gone straight to their heads. At least Ward proved himself in the ring, can't say the same for Dirrsgrace.

For a guy that needs redemption, Dirrell is pretty dumb. I don't get it. Fighters used to want big fights, no matter where they were. Hell, it was always more fun to beat somebody's ass in their back yard, in front of their fans. It was a measure of respect and ability to whoop a dude in his home town. These fuckheads don't get it.
