Khan vs Mosley ??????????????

Amir Khan (26-2, 18 KO’s) wants a rematch with IBF/WBA light welterweight champion Lamont Peterson (30-1-1, 15 KOs) to win his titles back and to prove to boxing fans around the world that his loss to Peterson last December was caused by outside forces rather than his own failing in the ring.

Khan will look to get another fight if Peterson fails to give him a rematch. Recently Sports Illustrated writer Chris Mannix mentioned that Shane Mosley (46-7-1, 39 KO’s) is one of the fighters that Golden Boy is considering to match Khan with next if Peterson doesn’t come back to the negotiating table for a Khan-Peterson II rematch.

Mosley, 40, would be a good opponent for Khan because he’s lost enough of his skills to where Khan could probably beat him without there being a lot of danger involved. A prime Mosley would obviously be too much for Khan but the way Mosley is fighting now, Khan should be able to win a fairly wide decision over him.

Khan needs big named opponents for him to win more fans and keep moving in the direction of a Floyd Mayweather Jr. clash. Mosley is arguably over the hill at this point in his career but Khan said it himself that it’s about catching the top fighters at the right point where they’re beginning to slide.

Peterson was already given a good 50-50 offer from Khan and his promoters at Golden Boy Promotions, but Peterson is waiting to find out what happens with Manny Pacquiao in his selection for his next fight. There’s a small chance that Peterson could get picked out, and he wants to wait until he absolutely knows for sure before he starts looking to put together a plan B and plan C.

Looking bad agaisnt Floyd and Manny isn't anything to be ashamed about. And we must not forget round two of the Floyd fight, do you see Khan surviving that same shot ?
