Chris John-Billy Dib Unification in Talks For March 31

The World Boxing Association’s featherweight super champion, Chris John, announced on Saturday that his next bout would be on March 31 in Marina Bay Sands, Singapore, and will likely be a title unification showdown.

“We’re still in talks with the IBF [International Boxing Federation] featherweight champion Billy Dib and we really would like this bout to be staged,” said Fathan Rangkuti, of public relations firm Mahkota Promotion.

Team Chris John Dispute Claims of Billy Dib Negotiations

Sampson Lewkowicz has advised BoxingScene.com that nobody from Billy Dib's team has contacted him for a featherweight unification with WBA champion Chris John (46-0-2, 22KOs) of Indonesia. Mahkota Promotions, who handled John's two recent fights, are allegedly involved in discussions with members of Dib's team for a unification showdown on March 31st.

"I am the matchmaker and the adviser to Chris John. Nobody from Dib's team has been talking to me. I don't know who they are talking to, but they have to call my phone number if they want to make a fight with Chris John. I don't know which person they are talking to, but they are not talking to the right person," Lewkowicz said.

dib has changed since his disgusting loss.not saying he's the reincarnation of the marrickville mauler,but he is a little more offense orientated.johns hasn't been challenging himself & time keeps marching.with a little bias involved,i'm tipping if it happens,youth & speed will be served
