NBA is back!

i guess that most people dont use this part of the message board but im so excited to be able to watch some NBA games on christmas.

I'm excited too. Without the NBA, I would've been kinda bored in the winter.

Short season = preparation and efficiency are more important; older legs can rest more.

Celts have a shot!

How can they rest more? they have to play more back to back games.

Go the Bulls!

Because the season is shorter and they've had time to heal. Sure the pace is faster, but they won't have to go through as long a season or put as many miles on their legs.

I think the lockout plus what has happened recently (Jeff Green for the Celts, Odom traded and Kobe injured for the Lakers) might have closed the window on at least these Lakers and Celts. They might retool very quickly but it will be tough. The Thunder will be scary this year and the Bulls will only get better. I hope the Heat win it all

but i am sooooo happy that lakers are 0-2 to start the season. and my blazers beat the 76ers last night. so all is good so far.

The East: The Bulls are still the Bulls, I don't understand all the hype around them. They're the new Hawks. The Heat are strong. The Knicks are intriguing. Indiana could be sneaky good. I'm with the Celts (when Paul Pierce and Pietrus get going we'll have a solid rotation). We're solid except at C.

The West: OKC, Spurs, Lob City, probably the Mavs and LA but the team I think will be really good and surprise people is the Blazers.

blazers never get respect. they have solid players at all postitions and a few really solid back ups. the mavs havent been looking too good and LA will still be pretty good but not as good as in previous years. clippers i think will do fine but this will be their adjusting year and spurs will be the same as last year.

i think that miami wins the east pretty easily.

They will win it all this year. GO THUNDER.

The OKC Thunder on 3-5 different betting boards are 3/1 on winning the championship for 2012

i highly doubt OKC will win it all but i wouldnt be surprised if they made it to the finals.

I wouldn't doubt it but I'm not sure how anyone could be 100% sure of any team.
