UPDATE: Arreola vs Butler on Nov. 5 in Mexico
Promoter Dan Goossen told RingTV.com that heavyweight contender Chris Arreola will face an opponent to be determined on Nov. 5 in Mexico, his first time fighting in that country.
Manny Steward, the trainer of 35-year-old WBA, IBF and WBO titleholder Wladimir Klitschko (56-3, 49 KOs), has told RingTV.com that he would like Arreola to be Klitschko's next opponent.
"I know that at 235 pounds, Chris Arreola is doing something right," said Steward in July. "He's clearly become more serious with his training and he would make Wladimir fight."

Here's hoping TBA is a legit opponent.

Now that Arreola seems to have gotten his career back on track and in the running for a huge payday against Wlad, I doubt his team will match him too tough.

Top heavyweight contender Chris Arreola (33-2, 28KOs) has found an opponent for his November 5th return in Mexico. Arreola will faces Alonzo Butler (28-2-1, 21KOs), who returns from a close majoirty points loss to Travis Walker. Arreola, who made a huge effort to stay busy this year, takes part in his fifth fight of 2011. The California boxer will pursue a title shot opportunity in 2012.

Im guessing this is a separate card from Angulo vs Kirkland?
Nov 5th is looking good
SHO - Bute vs Johnson & Kessler vs Stieglitz
HBO - Angulo vs Kirkland & Quillin vs McEwan
TBD - Arreola vs KO Victim #29

Why praise activity when it's just against bums ?
Arreola's HW career has been one can after the other, aside from Witherspoon and an ancient fat McCline he's beaten nobody.

Outside the Klits, the entire HW division our bums. Is there realy that much of a difference between a Butler and say Tyson Fury?

Yes, Fury like him or not is a rising HW with potential.
Arreola's been coddled to another payday, Goosen should get him in against the Thompson vs. Chambers winner or Dimitrenko.

Re: UPDATE: Arreola vs Butler on Nov. 5 in Mexico
I don't think can blame Arreola on that. All the top HWs(saying that is laughable) rarely ever want to fight each other. They are all waiting for a payday beatdown fight from the Klistchko's.
Thompson-Chambers winner will be manditory for Wlad. It's a joke. And they'll just sit and wait.
Povetkin is a chump and rather fight a totaly shot Holyfield. David Gaye won't fight Arreola. No fucking way. Boytsov won't fight him at this stage.
So realy, who's left? HW division is shit.
