Heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko, who scored a near shutout of David Haye in their July 2 unification fight, plans to fight again before the year is over, manager Bernd Boente told ESPN.com. "He will fight in November or December for sure," Boente said. "We are still discussing different names [of potential opponents]." Boente said the fight could take place in Germany, where Ukraine's Klitschko has fought most of his career. "Wherever it is, it will be in the European time zone," Boente said. HBO televised Klitschko's fight with Haye and also will televise his brother Vitali Klitschko's heavyweight title defense against Tomasz Adamek on Sept. 10 from Poland. However, Boente said he doesn't yet have an American broadcast partner for Wladimir's next fight. "We would love to do the fight again with HBO and, of course, we would like to have the fight covered in the U.S. So if HBO does not want to do it, we would want to work something out with Showtime or Epix." Boente said there are four dates that German network RTL, which has a contract with the Klitschkos, has made available: Nov. 19, Dec. 3, Dec. 10 and Dec. 17.

Well Arreola is an acceptable guy and Valuev is too, but the best guy to fill in the void to make it a watchable HBO Wlad card is IF Adamek beats Vitali and is willing to face Wlad 3 months later in a December showdown (if hes not too banged up).

That's a big damn IF. And it's really not fair to expect Thomas to turn around a fight the other Klit on that short time line. Besides, I'm sure there's some kinda slave-rematch clause built into this one Rolling Eyes

IF Adamek beats Vitali he wont fight Wladirmir in December. They'd want to build it up more than that.

I don't see HBO or Showtime being interested in any Wlad fight right now. Not worth it. No interesting names, logistical nightmare, ect.

It'll be thrown on EPIX which seems to have become the go-to dumping ground for Euro fights

i agree. helenius needs about 2 more years and then we will see where he is at. at the moment, he isnt ready for wlad.

HBO took their stance too early, they should have withdrawn from the division after the Haye and Adamek fights.
