Niner fans have been down on their team
I dont see how
You got Harbaugh guiding a talented offense - Crabtree, Vernon, Gore, Edwards, & even Smith should improve under him

Crabtree is such a huge dive, just a huge distraction to the team so far and he hasnt done anything since he been on the team! Hes also every slow, he cant be a #1 WR in the NFL, reason Edwards was brought in. Smith just sucks, he just not a good decision maker and has a horrible arm. If he keeps starting, expect the losses to pile on. Edwards drops a lot of balls, but hes just s decent WR. The O-line is grabage. Our two strating OT's are 1st RD picks, Joe Staley and Anothony Davis (whos a huge bust already), Rachel is a early 2nd round pick and sucks too. We have a former pro bowl and SB champ center and former Saint Goodwin, but hes already old. Iupati is the best linemen we have and he was taken in the first last year, too bad the rest of the line just lets everyone through.gomez1012 wrote:Mightytitan wrote:Niners lost a key O-Lineman..........Braylon will open up the middle for Vernon Davis.gomez1012 wrote:1 yr 3.5 million

Dont mention the weakest secondary in the league, we even got Taylor Mays in the 2nd round, but he sucks so bad he was a 3rd stringer behind a bunch of nobodies. He was traded for a 5th round pick to the Cincy. This team is 3 years away from anything relevant.

49ers made a great move. Crabtree has been solid, just not spectacular. He's an ideal #2 receiver. Him and Edwards make a decent 1-2 and overall their receivers are real respectable. And that takes all the pressure off Ginn who can focus on making special teams plays and being an x-factor. Staley is solid. Not sure on A. Davis, but their line isn't that bad. Westbook's still a factor. Mays was a project. He wasn't expected to make an immediate impact because his technique was awful and he still managed to make some plays as a rookie last year. I think the problem is with QB. They figure that out and they can be good.

i think they'll be #3 in the division. Kaepernick is already taking first teams snap at practice. He may start early in the season. Staley is solid, but he gets hurt way too much. The offense struggles against the blitz. Even though the 3-4 D lost a lot of names, they are still solid. We have 3 new linebackers on the side of Wilis starting this year, Smith, Bowman and Brooks. and the new NT we got isnt so bad for a 6th round pick. If Kaepernik can play well for a rookie QB, 49ers will look promising.Gumby wrote:Diego408 wrote:Crabtree is such a huge dive, just a huge distraction to the team so far and he hasnt done anything since he been on the team! I will agree having Gore, Edwards, Crabtree and Davis should help a lot! Kendall Hunter is a great RB and will replace Gore in a few years. Whatever QB starts, will have some tools to work with.
