Haye vs Wlad-the replay

why am I going to watch this fight twice? wife and son are out of town and there isn't shit on tv!!!

First 2 rounds for Wlad.

Merchant questions Haye early in round 3. Why is Haye not trying to fight inside at all.

Haye wins round 3. Haye landed some good shots but Wlad did as well.

If the entire fight was like this, it would have been a good fight.

Round 4-close round; I feel like Wlad just barely got it.

brits in crowd got excited but Merchant was correct, the right hands they got excited about weren't landing.

Haye threw 3-4 right hands late in round 4 there and I think Merchant is correct in that only 1 or maybe zero of them actually landed.

Roy Jones is terrible. I just can't stand the guy.

Round 5-Wlad landed the check left hook a couple of times. Why he didn't start throwing that punch earlier in the fight and more often. Guys are open to that shot as they are trying to avoid the jab/right hand follow.

Great advice by Manny. When Haye jumps in, Wlad should throw the check hook rather than back out of the way. Only problem is Haye jumps so far in you don't have alot of room for a hook.

another round for Wlad. 5-1 after 6 rounds.
after 6 rounds I am scoring it same as 1st viewing.

Lederman round 7, says when is Haye going to start fighting. lederman also says I don't think Wlad is shoving him down, Haye is falling down. Merchant-I agree, Haye is lunging in, ducking his head, etc...

Merchant says that deduction was earned at the officials' meeting on yesterday (where Booth complained incessantly).

Haye is moving well. Lateral movement but he appears to be playing keep away. Why does he not move left or right and try to get off more. 20 seconds a round where you attempt punches is not enough.

round 7 10-9 Wlad. 6-1 Wlad.

Haye had a good round 3. Round 4 was close (though I think Wlad got it) because some of Haye's right hands late in the round didn't land.

After that, haye largely went away. He didn't land a significant punch again until the 9th round. After landing that right hand in the 9th he did nothing int he round. Wlad did decent work and Haye continued to posture more than punch.

Brits in the crowd get excited every time Haye throws a right hand. Too bad most of them are short.

we all should have seen this as being an ugly fight coming in.

Wlad is hard to hit as he stands tall, stays behind the jab, and he catches punches.
Haye is herky jerky, and ducks down alot.
Neither guy likes to be hit.

Wlad round 10; hard to figure how Haye won a round from rounds 5-10.

Merchant at start of round 11: Haye seems happy to be a lucky loser and go home with a good payday.

Wlad was stunned by a right in the 12th. he wasn't hurt. Wlad comes back and lands 2 good right hands in return.
I'll give Haye the round.
