FNF: Brewer gives undefeated Guerrero a beadown
The dude is 40 years old, and knocks Fernando Guerrero through the fucking ropes in the 4th round, and then eventual stoppage.

Just saw the fight. I wouldn't really say Guerrero had an off night either. He's just another guy who is pretty good but nothing special a la Danny Jacobs and (I think) Tavoris Cloud. Guys who look good, but don't move well, don't punch well and haven't eaten a lot of big shots. Good win for Brewer. He'll be back on FNF. Would be fun if he fought K-9 if he gets past Powell.

Re: FNF: Brewer gives undefeated Guerrero a beadown
why was Guerrero fighting Brewer at 154 anyway? All of his fights since he turned pro were at 160. Lowest he weighed in at was around 157.5. Most often he came in at the limit of 160 and in many fights he came in above that weight (which is often the case for undercard fights that aren't for anything and aren't set at the normal limit).
He came in at 152 3/4 against Brewer. Pretty damn dumb.
Is he good? I've seen him fight live and I told my wife he might get to the point that he is legitimately ranked top 10 at MW but he would never be a major player in the division.
Should he be fighting at 154? No. Don't know what his management was thinking.
