Who needs promoters with Twitter? This will be a good thing for boxing. How many fights have we seen come off this year because of Twitter? Zab got his name in the mix with Khan via twitter and now they have a fight next month.

Almost any other fighter other than Dirrell and I wouldn't question a claim of neurological issues. With him, I question it.

McCloskey is hard to hit and has good defense, I'm interested to see if he can make Maidana miss. Maidana only landed 20% of his shots against Morales.

Yeah, it would be ugly. Why does a guy who produces fun fights (Ortiz, Khan, Morales), need to be in with a guy who is unorthodox and will just try to make the entire fight herky jerky. It is a bad style matchup in terms of excitement. When you have Kid Cojones you put him in a situation where he can show his brass balls.

Agreed. McCloskey would dance and Maidana would be too clumsy to hit him. It would be fun if Maidana chased him though.
