Ward will be announcing Froch-Johnson fight

Great way to hype up the final fight

Was thinking the other day that Showtime should get Ward ringside and then have him stand next to the winner in the ring post fight.

Very similar to what they did with Kessler by having him ringside and on the telecast for the Bute fight.

I hope Ward shows some charisma. That would definitely help hype the fight.

I think Ward could be a very good commentator. He is a very skilled fighter, intelligent, and articulate. The question will be his charisma but like cap said, it could really promote the final.

Andre Ward is a very well spoken individual. Once his boxing career is over, I could easily see him taking a broadcasting job. I could also see him becoming a world class trainer over time.

Showtime did a FANTASTIC job of hyping up that fight tonight. Then again, I'm sure Ward is easy to work with.

Ward did fine. He was extremely deferential - "Glen Johnson is great," "Carl Froch is great," etc. - and when they told him that Froch wanted him, he said Froch should be worrying about Glen Johnson. He was like a politician, but it was good for him to be there to hype the promotion. The lead up to the final is definitely going to be more Pacquiao-Mosley than BHop-Pascal because both guys respect each other.
