He will be remembered because unlike most athletes, he seemed genuinely fun. Basketball writers that I've read over the years have said pretty much uniformly that it wasn't an act. He was real a big kid.

Figure Shaq will have a good post basketball career doing reality tv (or maybe his flirtings with law enforcement are real and he ends up becoming a real cop somewhere; he'd probably call himself the big donut or something funny).
