Lakers and Celtics

Father time waits for no teams. Lakers down 3-0. Kobe isn't the same player he was at 28. Gasol has been lost. They don't have enough young athletic role players and Dallas has plain been better.

Celtics-down 2-0, but have to win both games at home over the next 3 days. Allen, Paul P, Garnett, are fighting, but they are old. Shaq is ancient. Jermaine O'Neal is a shell of his former shelf after all the years of injuries.

Since I'm a Celtics fan, I hope there is something left in the tank and they can get back in it.

Both teams will need major moves after the season. Have to get much younger and more athletic.

I'm a Bulls fan so I'm happy with our playoffs. Boozer though has been awful with Rose again stepping up. I don't think we are ready to win the title though. If the Bulls don't win it I want any other team but the Heat.

When do basketball players start to decline ?

Around 32.

forgetting the decline-alot of NBA teams take a guy who is option 1 or 2 and make him option 3 or 4 around age 30, so guys who were pretty damn good, often become role players in their early 30s.

Not really at 30. They are at their peak between the ages of 28-31.

Rajon Rondo's play with the left elbow was amazing. Just saw the clips. He couldn't even use the left arm at all. Was playing like a man with only 1 arm. tough SOB. If Rondo was a boxer or MMA guy, he wouldn't ever quit.

Rondo is amazing. He went straight up Willis Reed in game 3.
