I might actually root for Wladimir next month

Heavyweight contender Dereck Chisora has been found guilty of assaulting his then-girlfriend, but was spared jail ahead of his world title fight against Wladimir Klitschko.

District Judge Quentin Purdy imposed a 12-week prison sentence, suspended for two years, on Chisora at City of Westminster Magistrates Court on Wednesday.

"Your behavior on May 28 was disgraceful and downright humiliating," Purdy told Chisora. "You clearly have a problem with violence and that has got to stop or your career will be over."

The court was told that Chisora, who has previous convictions for assault, launched the attack after finding text messages from another man on her phone. Chisora was ordered to carry out 150 hours of community service, pay $2,400 in compensation along with additional costs.

Philip Moy, who represents Chisora, said his client could face further sanctions as he now has to appear before the British Boxing Board of Control. Chisora (14-0) takes on Klitschko on Dec. 11 in Mannheim, Germany.

Well I was rooting for Tony up until he mocked Freddie's parkinsons.

you should root for Wlad every time out.
He trains hard.
He is in great shape.
He systematically breaks down opponents (type of beatings that could leave a fighter never the same).
He fights reasonably often.
His woman is cute as hell
