I caught up through the first 5 episodes. Pretty good, not great, but good. I mean, who doesn't find a zombie apocalypse entertaining?

No big deal if the writers are over hauled, the writing was good, not great.

What sucks is the massive gap between seasons. I hate that about cable series. I mean, October, seriously?

good first season. Really 10 months until it comes on again. Damn that is a long time. I'd be okay with June, but October???? At least it is supposed to be 13 episodes in season 2.

the farm was definitely a slow burn. Felt like alot of the episodes from the first half of season 2 were just dragging out the same storylines too slowly. Maybe that is just me.

no idea why he didn't tell him. I guess telling a dying man whose stomach has been ripped open was the last thing on his mind.

I thought the awesome ending to the Dale's death episode couldn't be topped. But last night's ending was even better. And I thought a fitting death for such a character.

Season 1 was very good. First half of season 2 could have been condensed. I am all for character development, but I think they could have accomplished the same storyline in about 4-5 episodes instead of the number it took.

If next week is good then it will allow fans who were a little bored early in season 2 to completely get that bad taste out of their mouth and be excited at what is to come in season 3.

If you were going to live on the farm (and it seemed a while ago they were wanting to stay), then wouldn't you have asked Hershel to make the farm a defensive stronghold.

IN medieval times they had a moat around a castle.

Wouldn't you have said, hey guys, lets have 4-5 hour digging shifts every day and dig a moat(deep trenches) about 30 feet from the house, all the way around? Just a random idea. Don't flame me for it.

Not to be a dick, but a moat would make no difference with zombies. It's not like they need to breath. Remember "Land of the Dead" where they all walked out of the river in Pittsburg? George Romero rules.

Last episode was crazy BTW.
