Christopher Nolan is such a talented directer, I rate him up there with Stanley Kubrick.

Nolan would've never have been able to pull off what Kubrick did with the moon landing. tongue

I voted for JFK.Inception just seemed to drag along.I just didn't get all the hype.
Didn't understand the hype to Avatar either,it was decent but nothing special.
A movie that really blew was Hereafter with ,Matt Damon.

Keep hearing that, guess Clint Eastwood had to have a flop

I like Damon a lot(especially in the Bourne movies),but he appeared to sleepwalk through this movie and the character development was abysmal with the exception of the little boy.

Inception was very good but not great. Avatar was greatly overated. I voted JFK also.

Inception was an outstanding blockbuster, it had everything, exceptional score, beautiful cinematography, fantastic action scenes, great acting and a smart story line.

I actually enjoyed it more when I watched it again on Blu Ray, the third dream was a perfect combination of pace, action and the score coming together to have me on the edge of my seat.

My second choice would have been The Untouchables.

It's a great movie but I have The Dark Knight just ahead of it.

I love them both also. My dad use to watch them all the time when I was a kid. My favorite is For a few dollars more. I love the scenes with the watch and the music it plays.

Lee Van Cleef stole that movie as Col.Douglas Mortimer.I loved when they were trying to outdo one another in their pistol skills.

Agreed. Lee Van Cleef was the star of that movie. It sort of felt like teacher and student.

I found myself laughing along with Indio when the two of them were getting their asses kicked by Indio's boys.
