The worst about Oscar was before his fights. I know fighters give the same cliches every time, but Oscar was the worst. I've had a great camp. I'm in the greatest shape of my life. I've done _____ rounds of sparring. ............blah blah blah." All you had to do was change the name of the opponent and the rest of the quotes hardly changed.

As for Arum saying Oscar isn't too bright. He doesn't seem too bright to me.

Ricky Hatton seems to be doing it right for world-class fighters becoming promoters.

He isn't pulling a Golden Boy and living off of stealing fighters from other companies.


Hatton has alot of up and coming guys.

Whether or not they will end up world class (alot are probably just British level guys but there is no shame in that), he is trying to take guys from the starts of their careers up to their biggest fights.

Why do we not separate the manager and promoter anymore. It seems to work better that way.

Arum isn't the only person voicing their concerns about this contest. Morales in 10 years past his best regardless of weight class. Oscar knows it's all about the money
