Steriods are a huge problem in MMA, and I see still is. I remember reading Cali Athletic report a year ago, and during one review period, 3 boxers got busted to like 16 MMA fighters. And there were more boxing events going on in the State during that time, meaning more boxers were being tested compared to MMA fighters.

I don't think steriods is that big of a problem in boxing. It's more counter productive. But since MMA got shorter rounds, and strength is a big factor, no shocker it's used more.

I think stuff like EPO and other forms of blood doping is more abused in boxing. Any kind of stuff to inscrease stamina

You're right Grant. In MMA the fighters are using it because wrestling is the most important aspect and you need strength for takedowns and for ground control.

I bet it would go down if they increased the amount of rounds. Most these guys can't even go a round without being totaly gassed

Then let them get gassed. These guys have it much easier today. Peds are a serious problem in MMA, but Dana like Vince McMahon knows it makes business sense to turn a blind eye. And he's got the biggest show in town.
