what the fuck is going on at HBO. anybody that is willing to pay to watch Mayweather vs Spadafora is a mug. Floyd can't be that stupid to think bhe can sell this fight and get the same numbers he has done against bigger name fighters surely??

Like I said before if it's a tune up I am fine with it. As long as we get to see Flod vs Pac, Cotto or another top fighter after then I don't see the problem.

Flod's has been inactive for almost a year, so it's only natural if Flod wants to shake off his rust.

there is no defending Mayweather- he is a disgrace.

What are the chances that after he beats Spadafora and puts another 5 or 10 million in the bank, Little Floyd announces he is going on a long vacation to 'chill with his kids'?

To bad GBP and Top Rank are not working together this would be a great setting to have Pac and Floyd fight on the same night on regular HBO to set up the mega fight for 2012. Floyd have his tune up with Paul and have Pac fight somebody like fatass Guzman up at WW since he cant fight at lightweight or jr welter weight as Pacs tune up. I know its far fetched with both promoters greedy and the two stars Straight up PPV Divas as some of you call them, just a dream!

My bad I thought the date was Sept for the Floyd fight for some reason. The Floyd fight being talked about for July which would not work for Pac since he is fighting in May

Floyd decisioned Matthew Saad Muhammed and Yaqui Lopez in the same night. That's 30 rounds of hypothetical fighting with light heavyweights! you underestimate Floyd's abilities.

If this goes through I'm curious to see how it sells. I won't order it on principle regardless of the undercard (unless they went crazy like Cloud v. Dawson, Donaire v. Moreno and Canelo v. K9). I think this fight would put a huge dent in Floyd's "cash cow" argument because people won't buy it.
