Anyone want to write an article? Any ideas on the next article topic?

I have one article I started and got lazy. It was a rankings system article. I will probably finish that if no one else does an article. I was going to do a writeup on the Sergio card but didn't take pics when I was there.

Ranking system article? What is it about?

I was combining Ring, boxrec and yes ABC org's rankings into a BCS-like calculated ranking. The downside I was running into was that we don't know the gap between Ring rankings. For instance, the gap from Vitali to Haye or from Haye to the next guy dwarfs the gaps between other ranked fighters. It is too normalized to be super effective. I say it is about 40% complete.

I say take the sanctioning body rankings and locate any articles on them and lets rip them apart.

Its not about their rankings. I was going to use their ratings as a very small percentage of a cumulative ranking that determined a pseudo-official Boxing Palace ranking system created by yours truly. I was going to discuss the pros and cons of some different types of rankings. It would be a decent read since no big fight is coming up for some time.

If you use the ABC rankings, it will fuck everything up, since they are not even based in reality.

I say, fuck ABC rankings. Use The Ring, Boxrec, Fat Dan, and Bad Left Hooks new rankings.
