Mathew Macklin moved to the Khan vs McCloskey undercard

With middleweight Matthew Macklin of England having his fight against Winky Wright called off because Wright withdrew last week, citing a hand injury, Golden Boy, which recently signed Macklin, is working on another fight for him. However, instead of appearing on the April 9 Erik Morales-Marcos Maidana HBO PPV undercard as originally scheduled, Golden Boy's Schaefer said he was working on moving Macklin (28-2, 19 KOs) to the undercard of Amir Khan's junior welterweight title defense against Paul McCloskey in England on April 16.
