Been catching alot of the images on the news today, really is a horrible disaster. I feel for all of those people who's homes have been washed away.

been following this since yesterday. terrible, might have a nuclear meltdown as well now..

Watching those buildings sway side to side was crazy. I could never imagine what it'd be like to experience such a devastating earthquake like that.

The good thing is Japan is one of the most well prepared places for dealing with this kind of stuff because they get earthquakes all the time, so lots of the newer buildings are scientifically engineered to deal with that stuff. Of course, the more rural parts with wooden buildings unfortunately don't have that kind of defense.

It also didn't help that a 20+ foot wall of water coming in as fast as a plane followed the earthquake.

I hope the situation with the reactors don't get any worse
