I give Bob a lot of credit. He is honest about his dishonesty as well as his target audience(casual fans). While he is like every other promoter in his highest priority is make money, he doesn't do it at the expense of the sport too often. If he promoted Bradley or Alexander, the fight would happen in the fall and in STL but no buildup and neutral location hurt it. He makes deals for different cities and venues. He went to Showtime PPV for the CBS bonus.

Can they really get 15-20k for this? I dont see it.

Bum Jr sadily is a huge draw with Mexicans. So yeah, can easily get 20-30k, if not more.
