The former bantamweight and featherweight champion Rafael Marquez suffered a cut on his right arm after falling while running this morning in the Conejo Valley, State of Mexico, so it he won’t be able to fight in Mexico on April 9th as planned. Marquez received fifteen stitches and will be out of circulation for at least 20 days. He was eager to to get back in the ring and had already begun training with the legendary Daniel Zaragoza in addition to his daily run at dawn. Rafael is hoping his ring return will only be postponed two or three weeks, but that will depend on the medical authorization.

I wish Rafa would retire. He has already given us so much to remember.

the stories that were circulating at the time were that Zab in frustration after an argument with his father, punched his hand through a window/ shower cubicle.
