I agree with Marble about STAYING in shape. Heck Hagler never weighed more than 168 between fights. If you put him on a scale TODAY 25 years after he retired, I would bet my left nut he is not over 170.

BHOP always stayed in great shape during his middleweight reign. He reportedly ran daily whenever he wasn't in training for a fight.

don't know about his eating habits. I just know there has been stories in the past stating that he ran daily, didn't get out of shape in between fights (I can't recall any fat pics of BHOP), and he lived a rather spartan lifestyle (avoiding drinking, drugs, and staying out till all hours).

Or put more succinctly, he lived the anti-James Toney lifestyle.
