oh yeah, I'll have the FNF thread up and running. Like you or I do every week. Can't wait for February 18th as the wife and I are going to Salisbury, Md. (25 mins from where she grew up and her parents still live) and going to FNF!!!! Fernando Guererro better put on a strong performance.Ring wrote:bird wrote:Charles Hatleys Jr and Luiz Yanez are fighting tongiht, Hatley will make tv for sure and I bet Yanez will sicne he was the captain of the Olympic team

Damn Capt, your Lady must be getting to be a big fan of boxing, cool, don't forget to bring a camera, maybe get a few pics.
I'm not expecting the Mora-Vera fight to be all that good, but hey it's FNF, half the fun is mocking Teddy and Mr. Twinkie.

no, last I checked he was now facing Derrick Findley a guy who has lost every time he stepped up, Matt Korobov, Andre Ward, Andre Dirrell. He should give Guerrero rounds as he took Korobov the full 8 rounds in his last fight.

she doesn't know shit about boxing. Only time she will watch boxing is when her boy, Sergio Martinez is on. She likes his looks. It is fun watching his fights with her. Watching the replay of Martinez vs Cintron. She says, "what is the ref doing!!! guy got knocked down. Ref counted to 10. Even I know that means it is over!!!!." Watching the Martinez vs PW II fight, she says as PW is laying there motionless (about 3 seconds after he hit the canvas), "is he dead? he looks dead. Why is the ref even counting???" fun stuff.
similar to football. When I tell her football is on, she asks if it is the Colts. Only to watch her boy, Peyton Manning. If he isn't playing, she isn't even considering watching. "Why would I watch anyone other than him play?"
I figure she will have a blast at the fights. She has fun whenever we go to sporting events and says she likes live better than tv. At her first hockey game, during the first fight, she was, "whoa, why are they fighting???" By the 3rd fight, she was bloodthirsty. "Oh yeah, beat his ass."

That's funny, BTW, I can see her having a crush on Sergio, but doesn't she notice that Peyton is about as ugly as a mud fence? hahaha

I don't think Hatley's going to make it very far. Watching him for a full fight with good picture he confirmed a lot of his flaws and showed some new ones.
