why no friday night fights this weekend?
espn is 2-2 with good cards and now we have to wait two weeks for more boxing?? wtf are they putting on ....dominoes?

Everything is set for Friday’s 2011 debut of “Boxeo TELEMUNDO” at the famous Salon Jose Cuervo (former Salon 21) in Mexico City. In the main event, current WBC FECARBOX super flyweight champion Johnny “Laberinto” Garcia (16-1-1, 8 KOs) of Ciudad Neza, Mexico will face undefeated WBO Latin super flyweight champion William “El Barranquillero” Urina (17-0, 14 KOs) of Barranquilla, Colombia in a unification battle scheduled for 12 Rounds with both titles at stake.
Also on the card are world ranked bantamweight contender William “Chirizo” Gonzalez (25-3, 21 KOs) of Managua, Nicaragua and 18-year-old featherweight prospect Josue “Chino” Veraza (10-1-1, 9 KOs) of Mexico in separate bouts. Their opponents will be announced shortly.
Seven fights are scheduled with the first bell at 8:00 PM. Tickets are already on sale at Salon Jose Cuervo Lago Andromaco #17, corner of Moliere, Colonia Ampliacion Granada, Mexico City, by calling (525) 53259000 or at ticketmaster.com.mex. Price is only $100 & $200 pesos.
The main event will be televised live coast to coast in the United States by the Telemundo Network at 11:35 PM on High Definition. The show is being presented by Tuto Zabala Jr., All Star Boxing, Inc: “The New Generation” in association with Producciones Deportivas, Ricardo Maldonado Jr. and RB Producciones.
