Looks like Arthur Abraham's tune up is set for Feb 12th
Former middleweight champion Arthur Abraham (31-2, 25KOs) will make his return on February 12 in a ten round contest at WE Rhein-Ruhr Sporthalle in Muelheim, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany. The first ring appearance for "King Arthur" since suffering a bad defeat to WBC super middleweight champion Carl Froch in November.
The frontrunner to fight Abraham is Croatian boxer Stjepan Bozic (24-4, 14KOs). Bozic was stopped by Dimitri Sartison in six rounds as they fought for the vacant "regular" WBA 168-pound belt. The doctor stopped the contest because Bozic's eye was swollen shut. The only other stoppage loss on his record came to hard puncher Vitaliy Tsypko in 2006. Tsypko caught him early in the second round and did not let off the hook.
Abraham's return is being held outside of the Super Six Boxing Classic. He faces the tournament leader, WBA champion Andre Ward, in the semi-finals possibly in May.

confidence builder isn't going to help Queen Arthur. His problem is simple. He didn't face a world class boxer at 160. He didn't beat a single elite guy. At 168 he beats JT (but he was damaged goods by then). Then world class guys Dirrell and Froch make him look bad. He wasn't that good at 160. He isn't that good at 168. As simple as that.

YES, I am being a bit harsh. Miranda was ring ranked I believe. But it isn't as if he ever was an elite boxer. Miranda was a puncher. He faces 2 guys that can box their ass off, and he looks horrible.

Even though Abe didn't face alot of elite guys at Middleweight I always felt he'd crush Felix Sturm and beat Kelly Pavlik.

After Ward whips him, he should move back down. I think he would be one of the better challengers for Sergio.

Abraham at 160 would be nice. Pavlik, Martinez, Sturm still all fights that interest me
Will Showtime televise this?

Doubt it, wouldn't be worth the effort for a tune up in the middle of the afternoon USA time.

They aired Ward & Kessler tune ups before the tournament
I think just air it on tape delay with a ShoBox card or something
