This is a decent card, I hope Showtime is smart and makes it a reasonable price and not the BS $50-60

Cotto has a high price tag.

PPV means it's less likely to eat into Showtimes overall budget, at least this way you'll get a quality production instead of the usual Top Rank style.

Not sure, I don't think it'll be anyone that highly ranked, believe it's an eight rounder.

there going head to head with the martinez fight.did i read that post correct..i dont understand why cause a night with no competion means more potential ppvs...i dont think the cards worth 50 bucks even if yawn clotteys on it...there are a lot of cards on ppv not worth 50 -60 dollars..and several that dont belong.
i could be wrong but a 50 dollar ppv for that card has little potential..i think 29.95 would sell a lot more to boxing fans and overall would exceed the dollars taken in over the final 50 dollar total..
it would be worth an experiment anyway after they due a impartial intelligent market reasearch..

clottey in a 8 round fight..dam are his managers crazy..thats not a selling point for future negotiations.

I believe it's more risky for HBO to go up against Cotto, Martinez might have a spectacular knockout but Cotto is a well known fighter with a loyal fanbase.

And if this fight was 25 bucks, including service fees and HD, then I'd get it. That's a fair market price.

PPV purchased at a private home should be no more than $10-$15 bucks. I refuse to pay the absurd prices they charge for PPV's.
