It's because he has the date open for the Prudential Center. He announced it at the Madaole fight. It's a name guy that polish people will pay top dollar to see KO'd by their boy.

With that said, it's a fucking disgrace.

This is a fight that will damage boxing, I am disappointed Kathy Duva is even entertaining the idea.

adamek has 2 promoters..duvas one ..she is totaly against that fight and said she will have nothing to do with it..the other guy has adamek thinking yes for that fight.

It's still damaging to the sport to see a faded legend about to receive an unnecessary beating.

Roy Jones needs to be saved from himself, please HBO just offer him a permanent contract to work there. The licensing bodies should not be allowing this to happen and it is frightening to think of the potential consequences. as has already been said, Jones has been beat up bad a lot lately, Adamek is a big big guy and this fight should not be allowed to go forward. The boards really need to take responsibilty of this as the sport could not support another Ali type tragedy of a mainstream figure in todays day and age.
