Froch staying active, he deserves the payday for the retirement pot as well. Fight was a waste of time though, they are in completely different leagues. I don't think bute is going to take the rematch in spring. I would much rather see Kessler and Froch go at it again anyway

I agree Froch is a beast, but Mack isn't very good to begin with. He was just a tune up opponent, so I expected this type of blow out coming from the caliber fighter Froch is. Froch is old, we kinda forget that, and its good to see him still preform at a high level. I also expect him to be around for a while and still be an good fighter. There's a lot of fights I want to see him in. I believe Bute vs Froch II will be a bit more competitive than the first time around, but I still see Froch knocking him out because no matter what Bute changes in his game, his defense cant improve to the point where Froch wont land on him and his chin isn't good enough to take Froches punch on a consistent basis.

i started watching the fight at the 3rd round then the fight ended that round. it was fun while it lasted i guess. froch is good but will always be #2 at the weight class as long as ward is still there.
