Adamek vs Walker Round 2

haven't watched entire 5 rounds yet. Video above is only round 2. Couple of thoughts:

1-round 2 is a fun round.
2-Adamek's body looks softer to me than when he first moved up to HW
3-Adamek hasn't looked very good since the Vitali spanking
4-Might be time for Adamek's team to look for another big cashout fight, because their fighter is going to lose to a journeyman soon.

He's clearly at the end of the line. It's going to be hard for him to get a shot against Wlad at this point, maybe we'll see him against Haye or Arreola.

His team have floated Solis's name, which is a horrible idea. If Solis weighs anything that isn't astronomical, he should be able to outbox Adamek.

Solis eats worse than Hatton. I could see an Arreola rematch on Showtime, maybe HBO, with fatboy in far better shape than the first fight.

Adamek is a perfect example of the cruiser conundrum of today. Lightheavyweight was too hard to make for him so he moved up. Cruiser was too weak and not enough money so his eyes looked up a heavy. Any fighter that does that sees an aging 2 headed monster at the top and mostly weak, flawed, out of shape contenders beyond that. Heavy might be a weak division but it takes a lot out of a fighter that should be near 200 lbs fighting 230+ lb guys especially when the smaller guy has more heart than defense.

the problem is that adamek was out of his prime i think by the time he moved up to HW. he was solid at light heavy and at cruiser. his fight with golota at HW i thought that adamek looked good. he wasnt too big so he kept his speed and could move around well. he then tried to bulk up with made him lose a ton of speed and his power just wasnt there anymore.

when he fought Golotta he weighed only 214.5. Which means he basically just didn't do his final two week cut down that he did at cruiser.

last few fights have been 222-225. And he has looked markedly worse after Vitali beat him up. And he's 35 (almost 36). Unlike most HWs (he isn't a HW) and he didn't go through his 20s and early 30s facing nobodies (like alot of today's HWs). He was in tough fights at 175 (briggs, dawson) and cruiser (Cunningham).
