24/7 Chavez Jr. v. Martinez

Didn't see ep. 1. Watching ep. 2 right now. Some thoughts:

- Sergio's training philosophy is interesting. Very little sparring. The work he did with the web. He seems a little bit like a hippie or professor.
- Cyclops is just a cool dude.
- Chavez Jr. is a brat.
- JCC is in great shape and mentally sharp as a knife.
- Freddie Roach saying that Martinez can't fight going backwards is not good advice at all.

Well the little sparring Martinez does explain why he's lasted in the sport for so long especially at his age. In sparring people get banged up a lot. Martinez hasn't really caught too much of a beating in the ring and during his camp. Chavez jr is taking this fight as serious as he should.

episode 1 went into some stuff. It isn't cyclops. That is his brother. He has the lesser Sarmiento brother training him as the one who led him through the Cintron, Pavlik, and PW fights, has been sent back to Spain on an assault (I think) charge and hasn't been training him.

Martinez doesn't like water.

Martinez does different training. Cycling. Kayaking.
