Top ranked HWs don't fight each other. They fight bums and wait for a Klitschko beatdown payday

Im not sure that the Klits would beat down Seth Mitchell. That guy looks like a different animal than what they have been fighting. Not sure if he would beat them but at least give them a fight.GrantZilla wrote:Soonermark890 wrote:I want to see Seth vs Gaye.Hagler's Bald Head wrote:Seth Mitchell will crush this bum.

Mitchell is athletic for sure, but a lot of flaws. He get's hit too much. If Timur Ibragimov is tagging him, the Klits would roll over him.
He needs to just keep stepping up his compeition. He isn't going to improve fighting bums, and he isn't getting any younger either.

Yep but Wlad I think is who he needs to go after. That athleticism could pay off big against Wlad. Probably in about a year or so after a few more fights.GrantZilla wrote:Soonermark890 wrote:Im not sure that the Klits would beat down Seth Mitchell. No, Vitali is the guy. Vitali is old and slow, and if there was a semi competant opponent that wasn't a blown up Cruiser or a fat ass that blows his knee out, they'd beat Vitali.

Mitchell is a project. It is at least 2 years before he gets ready for either Klitschko. I like that he is athletic and aggressive, but beating Ibragimov is just a step in the right direction, not a huge sign of future glory.

Hopefully the Klitschkos will be retired by then.

Boytsov To Face Darnell Wilson, Chagaev vs Mansell Set
UniversumĀ“s big show in Hamburg, set for January 28, is coming together. The opponents have been set for undefeated Dennis Boytsov (29-0, 24KOs), a hard-punching and talented boxer but apparently injury prone, and former WBA champion Ruslan Chagaev (27-2-1, 17KOs).
Boytsov will fight Darnell Wilson (24-13-3, 20KOs), who on his last visit to Hamburg outscored Juan Carlos Gomez - while Chagaev is in again Kerton Manswell (22-3, 17KOs)
Featherweight Marcel Meyerdieck faces Roberto Santos de Jesus..

Re: The Return Of Denis Boytsov
Sources in Germany are indicating that Alexander Dimitrenko (31-1) is likely going to withdraw from a possible fight with Kubrat Pulev (15-0). The EBU ordered both boxers to face each other for the vacant European heavyweight title. Purse bids are scheduled to take place on January 30. If Dimitrenko withdraws, the manuever would allow his Universum stablemate Denis Boytsov (29-0) to step in against Pulev. Boytsov is going to return this Saturday in Hamburg, facing Darnell Wilson (2-13) at the Grand Elysee.

Dimitrenko should just retire. He doesn't want to fight anybody.
