Boise losing saddened me pretty badly but I knew they were overrated this year.

BTW this was a perfect weekend for OU and Mark. Boise and Stanford go down so OU passes them. Voters will not put a rematch in the title game IMO (reference tOSU vs Michigan playing tight as 1 and 2 in final regular season game 2006). This unwritten rule knocks out Bama AND Oregon. All this together means OU controls its own destiny to get to the title game.

If they beat Ok. State then maybe. I think it should be Bama but people might not want to see a rematch.

oregon deserves the rematch. it was the first game of the season. things are different now.

Oregon plays in a shit conference this year and Bama already had their shot.

But other than that argument I really dont have a leg to stand on to argue that the Tech loss was better than the loss to LSU.

Pac-12 isn't that bad. It's a grind. And it's going to be even more so. Washington is a year or two away from rising up again. Shit, same with USC

This year the Pac is horrible. Stanford had the 90 something toughest schedule this year. Thats why Oregon is not ranked higher than OU. Their SOS is bad.

BTW the best matchup I can think of as far as excitement wise this year would be Oklahoma State vs Oregon.

Blah. Oregon could have played it safe not scheduled LSU for the first game of the season and the Ducks would be underrated. But that's not how Chip Kelly rolls. He wants to play all the tough teams.

and sooner, oregon would whoop oklahoma. the main reason they lost to LSU is because it was their first game and their true freshman fumble it twice which resulted in enough points for LSU to win the game. oregon would make it more competitive and may even win if they played again.

Yup. Oregon's Achill's Heel is power. They got the West Coast speed but can't compete against giant hulks that come out of the South. They get manhandled at the line of scrimage by them. Shuts down the run game and Oregon's high temo offense.

We would kill Oregon. They dont play defense and I would love the chance to beat their ass again since we havent played since they cheated.
