Confirmed: On September 17 Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (43-0-1, 30 KOs) will defend his WBC middleweight title against Ronald Hearns (26-2-0, 20 KOs) at the Palenque in Culiacán, Sinaloa, Mexico. It will be a big party in Culiacan, as the hometown hero Chavez will make his first defense. Hearns unsuccessfully challenged WBA champion Felix Sturm in his last fight.
