What are Froch's options moving forward...
...if he doesn't want Groves next?
It sounds like he is angling for a Chavez Jr fight. I think that is a very smart choice for Froch at this point. I would think that even an age-diminished Froch would beat Chavez and the world wide media exposure and corresponding paycheque would be quite nice.
Ward does not really interest me. Strangely enough, Ward's relevence seems to be sliding despite being the champ at 168.
The Groves rematch will still be there after the Chavez fight win or lose, and it will be a lucrative purse. Even if Froch lost to Groves he could still travel to Montreal afterwards for one more million dollar payday vs Bute or Pascal.

I must add that I am assuming that Kessler is retired at this point. Otherwise the Kessler trilogy would be a viable option, probably in Denmark.

I think he goes after JCC Jr. And I think that would be a mistake. Jr might just be a bad style matchup for Froch. I hope he beats jr but not picking Froch in that one.
Re: What are Froch's options moving forward...
I'm surprised you feel that way. The one thing Jr has going for him is he is naturally bigger than Froch. I believe if they had same day weigh in Jr would be a cruiser at this point, while Froch would still be a 168. Froch makes weight easily.
The question is how fast is Froch fading? After watching the Vera fight, I would have to still pick Froch unless he becomes completely shot next fight.
But as I mentioned, even if Froch were to lose in a war vs Chavez, he still has paydays available vs Groves, Bute, Pascal, and maybe Kessler.
Even if Froch is done he should be able to cash out with a couple of nice paydays.

And no one deserves it more than Froch. He deserves to have a few Paydays. I just think that JCC Jr will shock people as he moves up in weight. I think he is going to gain power and stamina as he moves up. He could really be something special. But hell its a blind guess LOLCanvas Lives wrote:I'm surprised you feel that way.
