another cancelled fight...sigh

velez-de leon is off because velez injured his ankle. this is getting ridiculous. every good fight this year has been cancelled so far.

this is atrocious. I am very thankful for all European cards I can find online.

Last weekend was a decent one. Selby looked dominant. Frampton proved he was a legit top 10 guy with a good KO.

It is bad, but basically to deal with this crap I have to check Wiziwig every week and find extra fights.

i just read the report about this.first its not a fight that im interested in since the division has 3 or so fighters i am interested in but still.a sprained fucking ankle.give me a break.as a young teen i sprained my ankle 4 times on a basketball court.only once i didnt return to the game and the next day it was much better and in 2 days back to normal.another time in sandlot football i twisted and sprained it bad where for 3 days i hobbled on crutches and after that the next 2 days normal.
baseball players as a example do it often and are listed day to day but within a few days are ok..they claim its 4 to 6 weeks before it heals.
sorry i dont believe that nonsence.its bullshit.he hurt it walking and steped on something uneven..its not like he twisted it being hit by a 300 pound lineman.

agreed. velez looks very promising and a win over ponce could put him in the spotlight. like you said, the ankle better be very bad for him to postpone this fight.
