i think it is.maybe one last fight which is marquez in sept on mexican idependence day.ill get back to that date in a moment..a doctor in the phillipines says he suspects pac is developing the begining on parkinsons.he said he sees signs of the symtoms although he admits its from a far not by examining pac.
arum is taking it serious because hes taking pac to the lou ruvo clinic part of the cleveland clinic in vegas that specializes in brain disorders.parkinsons alzheimers lou gehrig etc etc disorders.pacs mother wife amoung others want him to retire now.of course theres about 20 million reasons for just one more fight.
the date goes up against a potential floyd -alvarez fight on the same day.talk about a grand finaly for the fued .economic stupidity..somebodys got to blink.unless of course a shocker of a floyd-alvarez in may bypassing RG.if the fight does go on its both fighters final fight.there careers end that night.forget i feel thinking otherwise.
almost every fighter i can think of with the exception of stanley ketchell do not rebound from a crushing ko pac suffered.were talking out cold no movement count to a good 100 and still no movement.
yes theres 20 million reasons to do 1 more fight.thats boxings history.fight that one more or a few more or many more when you should call it a day..tunney marciano lewis joe c and yes hagler retired on top.maybe a tiny few more..robinson louis chavez sr holifield charles the list is endless of just that one more or a few more fights.
pac should call it a day and forget about the bloodthirsty fans saying fight number 5.forget about your thoughts that say i still can fight almost or just like before.its time.

Of course boxing will affect Mannys health in the future, its one of the consequences of being a fighter. However Pacquiao isn't done. He can still fight at the highest level. Had he got that wide decision against Bradley people wouldn't be saying that. That fight wasn't even close and he was sweeping most of those rounds against Marquez, he just got caught twice. Pacquiao was dominant in 2012 against top 10 P4P opponents (Bradley and Marquez were on the rings lists before fighting Pacquaio). Pacquiao just didn't see that Marquez right hand coming at the end of the 6th ahahahah.

The problem for Pacquiao is he has been overrated for years. Pacquiao was dominant against shit opponents, and its just when he started to fight better fighters, he didn't look so great. Kinda like Erik Morales. He was knocking out all lesser opponents, but when he fought better opponents he wasn't winning by KO very often. David Diaz sucked, DLH sucked (at the time he fought Manny of course), Hatton sucked, Clottey has no offense, Cotto was really put in a disadvantage, and Margarito sucked. Bradley is a very good JR Welter that didn't look so great at welter. Bradley is really good at making fights difficult and its the reason Pacquiao couldn't stop him. Before Manny even when on a string of victories, Marquez kicked his ass at Jr lightweight. Then did it twice at Welterweight. Pacquiao is a great fighter, but the higher weights weren't his best years. He looked good because he was cherry picking awful fighter.

Diego,

Me, you, and a bunch of other people on various forums over the years have been saying Manny's overrated for a while. But a lot of these people(especially his fanatical fans) couldn't see the forest for the trees. His career, especially the later years, was cleverly crafted and manipulated to ensure success for him. The only serious threat Manny has fought over the past 5-6 years is JMM. And I think JMM won all of those fights, so do many other people, that should tell you something right there.

Now is he done...who knows?

Like I said on another forum: They(TR) can keep matching him up against JMM, and Manny can lose every time in the future, and they(TR) can just continue to use the excuse that JMM "has his number". All this will do is continue to cover up the obvious, if he IS indeed done. They can continue to milk Manny for all he's worth, because they would be able to fool the public...ala Marquez-Vasquez. Both of whom were done, but were continued to be featured, because it was against each other.

Now if they match Manny up against somebody else, and he gets beaten, then that just confirms he's REALLY done. Can't use the "JMM has his number" excuse if he loses to somebody else.

And even if he can still fight...his aura of false invincibility is gone forever. Guys are going to come after him like never before, and who knows how his body will react to getting hit after such a brutal KO. In that aspect, of how guys viewed, respected, and even feared him in the ring...that is done and over with...

guys pac is a all time great one.to me thats a top 100..is he overated or was he overated.absolutely yes..overated highly by many boxing fans including some of our good friends on here but also overated by several boxing experts and a few made claims i felt was not only laughable but downright wrong.this is coming from a big pac fan that can see the trees the forest and the leaves lol.heres an example of overating from burt sugar a great historian..sugar at times has made several statements that i felt like hes gotta be joking.example a few fights ago rated pac in the teens of all time greats.based on what.surely not by fighting 40-50 or more fights against the whos who of boxing like robinson greb gavilyn armstrong etc etc did.it was based on 8 belts a great feat even though several were manufactured for pac like the margo fight.i gave a example on how armstrong could of had 6 or 7 belts at the SAME time in the thred of breakable boxing records.so stuff the fucking belts since several have 4 or 5 etc etc.
sugar in another interview which i spite out my soda when he said pac was the greatest southpaw of all time.i thouht hagler may have something to say about that..some friends on here said that pac could end up in the final top ten after alls said and done..again based on what..i said at that time if he wins all his fights thinking 6 or 7 more in the fashion that he has been doing maybe in the top 30s..he didnt win out.
look yes margo and mosley fights were a total joke.all of us said that.lets not knock the clottey destruction guys..nor the hatton either.no one realizes hatton scored a knockdown on floyd but wasnt credited for it.yep i think it was round 2 he hit foyd with a left hook that sent floyd sprawling backwards a good 5 feet and was about to go down but the ropes stoped him..by the rules thats a knockdown.yes the cotto fight was to pacs advantage but dont discount how he man handled cotto..
pac had terrfic handspeed with power.he fought 6 or so fights at great angles and was very accurate tossing punches.he did things that yes were special in the ring at times.
overated yes by the hbo boys by max by burt sugar by the general public and boxing fans who believed the hype that the media gave him.a top ten canidate a top 20 or now a top 30.sorry no way.a top 100 absolutely yes.i think thats puting stuff in a correct outlook.a great fighter and one who the fans mostly loved to see fight indeed.overated.not by me .maybe overated by some die hard pac fans who overplace his standings in the ATG category.

goods thoughts by everyone on pac. he is highly overrated by many. he is definitely an ATG and has solid wins in his career. he is still a top fighter but i think will fade quickly if he keeps on fighting. i would say that if he really wanted to keep on fighting, he has about 2 years and maybe 4 fights that he would still be considered a p4p fighter. after that, he is done. although i dont think he will fight that long or that many times. if the JMM fight does happen, that will most likely be his last fight.

I won't offer my opinion on what Pac has left. I honestly don't know at this time. I will say that if he retires or his skills diminish dramatically, it will do horrible damage to the sport.
