lol, harold lederman scored it for adamek per a boxingscene article. He said something about Cunningham not putting two right hands together and running.
Like (almost always), Lederman believes in aggression.

My 2nd article with MY scorecard is now on the fightscorecollector site http://fightscorecollector.blogspot.com
I have explained why i thought Cunningham won the fight and why Adamek should NOT have got that decision.
cheers for any comments

Adamek per boxingscene (which can be rather questionable at times and solid at other times) has said that Cunningham ran.
I'm sick of guys getting outboxed and plodding forward saying someone ran.
Miguel Vazquez takes boxing to a level that could be considered damn close to running. Andre Dirrell has been known on occasion to make things look too much like a track meet. While Cunningham moved alot, he landed a good amount of jabs. He landed some good, clean right hands. There are some times I yelled at the screen for Cunningham to throw a few more jabs, let more right hands go, but I didn't think he was running.

i agree 100%. its like the oscar-tito fight. they say that oscar ran at the end so the judges gave tito rounds. what they didnt consider was that oscar was still landing some punches while tito was still missing. same with the dirrell-froch fight. the running argument is dumb. i dont care if you are running or not. if you are running but still landing more and better shots than your opponent then you win the round no matter how ugly you make the fight.captainanddew wrote:Adamek per boxingscene (which can be rather questionable at times and solid at other times) has said that Cunningham ran.

Re: 98 Press/Fan scores from the Adamek vs Cunningham fight
While I'm not a fan of guys constantly on their bicycles, I don't consider what Cunningham did as running. I watched the fight from start to finish and if you listen to the announcers, they never once bitched about him running, they called it right. SC was landing the jab at will and moving out of range. He threw/landed enough right hands (more than Adamek) to win round after round. He was not going to stand there & slug with a guy that knocked him down as many times as TA did in the first fight, especially considering the 20 lb weight difference. SC fought a very smart fight and I had him winning 8-4. No bias, as I like both fighters, but those judges stole one from Cunningham.
