Press and Fan scores for Pacquiao-Marquez 4..rematch needed??
First off thank you for supplying scores for my fightscorecollector site... http://fightscorecollector.blogspot.com
I was able to get 146 Press and fan scores.
41 Press scores which a high percentage had Pacquiao ahead when stopped
Does the fact that Pac was ahead on most peoples scores, my stats had it 133-10-3 in favor of Pacquiao give him the right to demand a 5th fight??
JMM is a remarkable figter to comeback the way he did, at 39 he gained his best win of his career....i for 1 want to see a 5th fight. LOOK what i say at the end of my article, thats the reason i hope Pacquiao gets his chance
"Once and for all" - pacquiao-marquez 5

the last two fights didn't change my mind either but I would love to see another one. Huge payday for both guys and a really exciting fight also. It's kinda a win win for thempowerpuncher wrote:dont want another fight. i would watch it but it wouldnt at all change any opinion i have of either fighter anymore.

IMO, there is now a much bigger payday out there for JMM than a 5th fight with Pac.
We've already heard it mentioned...and we will hear it more and more as the hype machine kicks in.

Personally, I think another fight is necessary and it will absolutely happen. I also think we need to stop and think about this fight series for a minute. In this boring era of fighters who duck everyone, average fighters being passed off as superstars, etc, Pac and Marquez have managed to give us a great fight. This fight series has made a comback behind this KO of Pac and will continue. Also, I'm convinced we'll all tune in to watch the fight.
This fight had closure, not a controversial decision that could've gone either way. With Mayweather no longer on Pac's radar, Manny wanted to take care of Marquez once and for all. He was going for the KO against Marquez which is why he got caught.
I'm still in shock over the result, though I'm excited at even the thought of a rematch. This is the best fight in boxing. Period. My take.

I think it is needed. Manny was in control of the fight up until the KO. He looked a lot better than Marquez Saturday night. Even though he was KOed pretty bad, he was still on the level of Marquez. No lie, it was a great fight and a 5th will provide the same kind of fireworks.
Now that Conte is accusing Marquez of PEDs and some boxing writers are running with it, its will be needed because some int he boxing public will want to see the 5th fight with Random drug testing. There's now doubt Marquez won this fight cleanly in my mind, just haters want to dirty his win. Its BS, but Marquez should go and prove the haters wrong. MArquez has already done random drug testing before, the only one against random drug testing is Pacquiao himself. You can look physically as good as an old Marquez did if you work hard enough and no doubt Marquez worked his ass off to come in such shape.

i think that JMM's legacy was definitely helped by the last 2 fights because it showed that it wasnt a fluke that he and pac has close fights before. if they didnt fight a 3rd or 4th time, people would be saying that pac is way better than JMM because pac has improved so much from their first 2 fights. JMM proved that he was on pacs level throughout their careers.Soonermark890 wrote:the last two fights didn't change my mind either but I would love to see another one. i always thought he was a great fighter too but i think those 2 fights proved it with a surety that it wasnt a fluke with pac, but that he was actually on the same level.Soonermark890 wrote:very true but i always thought he was a great fighter.
