Why is this on the front page of ESPN?

UGH now a boxing site is putting up crap like this. I thought we had ended this stupid argument by now.

they are similar but different sports. When you get past the fact that MMA isn't boxing and boxing isn't MMA, then you can become a fan of both. While boxing is my first and true love, I do enjoy MMA more as I watch it.

I do too. I just dont understand them trying to constantly come up with these stupid topics. Really dos Santos thinks he can KO Wlad. If that was really true he would be boxing right now making 10 times the amount of money. But lets not get into that debate. I just find it a joke that we are still having this argument.

What is kind of funny is I saw this first on an MMA information site called bloodyelbow.com and the title was "Junior dos Santos loses mind, says he would knock out Wladimir Klitschko" LOL

Eh, I guess. I think it's just JDS dreaming. He wants to be a boxer and I wouldn't be surprised if he had extended success in MMA if he attempted to leave for boxing. He seems to love boxing. But he is just dreaming here.

lol that's awesome

hardcore mma fans know that his claims are not hat tcredible. the problem I have with it is espn putting this crap on their site. there are alot of idiots among the casual sports/casual mma fans that go to espn.

Yeah catering to the casuals can be very, very annoying. Even worse when the organization starts to cater to casuals just like the UFC is doing with Chael-Jones on Ultimate Fighter. But it's not the first time they catered to casuals just look at Kimbo, James Toney and the entire selection process of The Ultimate Fighter since about season 3. Pathetic and frustrating.

It reads like the whole article was made up around a simple question somebody asked Dos Santos about the Klits. He is a FIGHTER and gave his opinion and ESPN actually ran that article is pretty silly. Now like another poster stated if he really believed that then he would be fighting in front of 60k plus in Germany or some place like that getting paid like a King and then getting out classed ha ha.
