decarie is canadian I believe. 26-1. only loss was to

perez is very tall for 147.

decarie got to the body and head around 1:05 left in round 1.

round 1 10-9 Decarie.

Decarie waiting too much in first 2 mins of round 2. Perez not landing much of note but the busier fighter in this round thus far.

good right hand, Perez is taking overhand rights.

decarie needs to follow up the right hand with a left hook.

round 2 10-9 decarie. decarie buzzed perez late in round 2 with 3-4 right hands.

I hated Roy Jones in his first go round as an analyst for HBO. Now, I'm not a huge fan but I do think he has gotten better.

For whatever reason, Max seems to work better (bounce questions to and off of the responses of) Roy Jones much better than when he is Championship Boxing with Manny Steward.

thus far, Decarie outclassing Perez with right hands.

perez got into the fight around 45 seconds left in round 4 with a good left uppercut

decarie took it well and immediately wanted to trade.

much better round for perez, but decarie still won the round.

ref finally stopped it. Perez had gotten up from knockdown. was in bad shape. Decarie landed some good right hands and his head was looking like the top of a pez dispenser.

Perez was out of it. He was badly stunned and he couldn't defend himself no matter what he says about it being a bad stoppage. The Canadian guy isn't a bad fighter. He'll make noisy in the division.

Decarie had been off for 10 months. I'd seen him before. While he isn't going to ever become a world beater, he can continue to make decent to good money in Montreal.

Vic- his effectiveness has gone down as he has moved up in weight. Not sure fighting at a higher weight class is going to help him.

If the Rican tries to trade with him it will be a bad idea as Vic does throw a mean cross and uppercut.

naturally bigger man. He should box Vic, wear him down, and don't trade until he has diminished him throughout the fight.

But Vic isn't that dangerous of fighter anymore and gets outboxed by everyone.
