That's right after a shower, I'm sure he looks horrible today. Swelling usually gets worse the second day.

to me only the 154 division is a phoney not needed division.your a middle.in my mind asking to fight at 154 is a catchweight that almost everyone here is against.sergio isnt young.an example is robinson who fought a lot at 154-155 as a middle contender and champ when younger.hell he was a few onces over 157 when he fought maxim for the light heavy title.now fast foward that a few years and robinson at age 38 for a few years fought at 159-160.does anyone actualy believe robby could fight at 154 without hurting his performance.theres no reason to not fight at 160..none unless we want to give alvarez a major advantage which all here bitch about that hes had for a while.forget the phoney divisions every 3 or 4 pounds.when a fighter moves up in class its usualy i cant make the weight anymore is the reason without hurting his performance.thoses 6 pounds at this stage of sergios career make a big differnce.

I agree that Sergio should try his best to not be weight compromised the rest of his career if he can help it. The problem is, the most lucrative fights for Maravilla- Floyd and Pac, who have shown NO inclination to want to get anywhere near the Argentinian- would require him to go down to at least 154, something Sergio himself has already said he'd be willing to do. So if you are Kid Cinnamon, and you know you are the next biggest moneybelt after those two (Miguel Cotto notwithstanding, who also would warrant Sergio at 154) why wouldn't you demand Maravilla come down?
