wow.i figured it would not last given floyds personality but i thought they could make it for 2 years for sure.a lot of talent is being jerked around unless floyd actualy is planing his future as a promoter after one or 2 more fights.

I'm sure Floyd will bring 50 over to "Mayweather Promotions" soon enough.

50 cent isnt the person to start this up with mayweather. mayweather needs someone who knows what hes doing.

50 cent should be used, but only as a marketing piece. Kind of like how he was used for Vitamin Water.

If Floyd is going to try to make his promotion a legit stable after he is gone, he needs to bring in talent at least 2 years before he retires. Mayweather has nearly unprecedented power as a fighter because he is a free agent PPV star. HBO and Showtime will do whatever he wants right now but he won't have that power once he retires the next time. The next time he retires will look like the real deal unlike his other retirements.

Karma. That's what 50 gets for bashing De La Hoya. Looks like GBP will most likely promote every Floyd fight until he actually retires from the sport officially.

Anybody else see that 50 is starting a promotional company with Pacquiao now? It sounds so bizarre. The reports that the original plan was Floyd, 50, and Pac but Floyd backed out.

That's too bad. It would be nice for anyone to come in with a fresh take on promoting. I thought 50 might've wanted to put the best fighters in against each other because he's a fan.
