Re: London 2012 Olympics
Andy's emotional reaction was also due to the crazy amount of pressure pilled on his shoulders each year at Wimbledon from the country, the support this year for him was very strong.

I think this will get him over the hump at a major. Would not be surprised if he wins the U.S or Australian open.

Andy always does well in Australia, I could see him winning that.

Yep, I don't mind him. Out of the big 4 it's Federer for me then Murray.

I like them all, Djokovich is a character though.

Re: London 2012 Olympics
there were definitely some good runners in the 100m finals. tyson gay would have probably medalled in most other years. he just ran against really good competition.
but bolt is ridiculous. what made him stick with running and not doing another sport?

I can't wait to watch the relay tonight.
he is amazing. I also believe he is doped up.
Why? Angel Hernandez or Angel Heredia since he has changed his name, is a Balco guy. He has worked with Bolt for a while.
He is dirty as hell. If he is as good as Conte figures, then Bolt's levels are elevated but under the bullshit high level that gets you labelled a positive test.

he supposedly is working with other top jamaican sprinters as well.
He also worked with Juan Manuel Marquez for the last Pac bout, which raises questions to me about Marquez. Marquez had been about 145 pounds in the ring in most bouts. He was 151 and of similar rippedness. Was he doping? No idea, but working with any of the ex-Balco guys raises issues in my mind.
When Victor Conte works with anyone these days (which he has), I question whether the fighter or athlete is doping.
When Conte starts calling bullshit on athletes and doping I tend to listen. He is one of the guys that helped cheaters like Marion Jones dope and still pass drug tests for years.
Conte keeps saying the drug testing is shitty. acceptable "Normal" ranges that are way too high. Per him, you can dope properly, and have elevated levels, but make sure you will be in the "bullshit" normal ranges allowed.
Drug testing needs to be with lower numbers allowed, and much longer bans. Clean sports up.
Or else just give up and make doping legal and allowable. The in betweeen that has been going on for a long time is bullshit and I'm tired of it.

I'm not going to accuse him of cheating unless it's proven. Bolt is the GOAT sprinter.

It's funny to think that Chris Hoy was given a Knighthood before these games, how do you award him now ?
Wonder if Wiggins will be given a Knighthood given the gold medal and becoming the first Brit to win the Tour De France.
